CIM-3000, basic system CARD INSERTION MACHINE; machine in very compact design with dimensions of only 1.8 m (L) x 0.5 m (W) x 1.5 m (H). Input magazine min. 300, max. 500 cards, scratch-free removal and transportation. Input magazine for good cards, input magazine for bad cards. The functions of the machine are controlled by an internal PLC, which is connected to the Keyence system (see position 2) via control lines. The machine performs a sensitive, full-surface inspection of plastic cards (54 x 86 mm, ISO 7810/7813) to ensure perfect surface and printing quality. On 3000 to 4000 cards per hour, scratches and stains, lamination errors of all kinds, defective printing or punching (color deviations, inaccurate positioning of logos, holograms and magnetic stripes) can be detected automatically in a single pass. If a card exceeds one of the specified limits, it is rejected and removed from the card flow.
